Hi Folks, this one has been driving me nuts. Using a recent version of 7.9.2.
Symptom: music stops playing, no response from web UI. LMS hard wedge for about 5 minutes. Then it wakes up, players on pause and at the end of playlist. Error message from log upon waking: [19-06-13 11:35:25.6577] main::init (387) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.2, 1559745322, Wed Jun 5 16:48:58 CEST 2019) perl 5.024001 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi [19-06-13 11:39:41.4027] Slim::Networking::Async::connect (114) Failed to connect to repos.squeezecommunity.org:443, because SSL connect attempt failed [19-06-13 11:39:41.4034] Slim::Networking::Repositories::__ANON__ (146) Failed to fetch https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml: Connect timed out: [19-06-13 11:39:41.4038] Slim::Networking::Repositories::__ANON__ (149) https lookup failed - trying plain text http instead: http://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml I can reproduce this on a running server by going to the "Settings" panel and selecting the "Plugins" tab. I honestly don't care if my plugins are up to date, I don't really use them. Is there a way to disable this check? I've been looking at the code and have some idea where to hack, but if there is a satisfactory workaround would love to hear. Wouldn't this check work better in a separate thread from the actual player streaming code? Could live with this if it didn't cause the players to wedge up. thanks -bruce. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ waltonb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110660 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
