Hi Folks, this one has been driving me nuts. Using a recent version of
7.9.2.

Symptom: music stops playing, no response from web UI. LMS hard wedge
for about 5 minutes.
Then it wakes up, players on pause and at the end of playlist.

Error message from log upon waking:

I can reproduce this on a running server by going to the "Settings"
panel and selecting the "Plugins" tab.

I honestly don't care if my plugins are up to date, I don't really use
them. Is there a way to disable this check?
I've been looking at the code and have some idea where to hack, but if
there is a satisfactory workaround would love to hear.

Wouldn't this check work better in a separate thread from the actual
player streaming code?
Could live with this if it didn't cause the players to wedge up.

thanks -bruce.
