I have noticed this premature scan temination for a while myself. I typically have 2 LMS (MAX2PLAY) servers on identical Pi's with only one running at any time, and the other used as a player and a possible LMS backup. Both LMS's are pointing towards the same music folder on a FREENAS platform using the same user credentials. I have found LMS 7.9.0 will scan properly, but later releases will "terminate unexpectantly" with the last log entry pointing at a "invalid rating tag". Scott 2 CHAN.
