I never mentioned a Windows product for the media server, just a more
powerful computer. The software would be Linux, not Windows. 

My intention is to run high definition video files from this server, and
to start with my problem is with the HDD interface, that can't be SATA
to USB, which would the option with a Raspberry or and Odroid.
