Did you try http://localhost:9000 or http://127.0.0.1:9000?Yes, I tried both on the local computer (it is a Mac Mini), both don't work.
What would grep httpport ~/Library/Application\ Support/Squeezebox/server.prefstell you? You'll need to run this from the account under which LMS is running.
