I use Playlist Manager to manage adding songs to particular playlists. 

For my use-case, the destination folder could be one static folder and
I'd imagine it would be a copy based upon the addition to a specific
playlist that exists for this purpose. 

There would be no need to duplicate a directory tree. Simply dumping a
copy of the file into a flat directory would be just fine. Immediately
would be ideal, but periodically might work.

LMS is currently running on Windows 10.

I'm going to look at that scripting plugin. Thank you.

It's more like I want a directory of files I could drag and drop to a
CDr. It's not exactly that, but that description illustrates the desired
result.

I use Playlist Manager. I could have a playlist for this purpose.
Scripting the copying of files added to that playlist, to a specified
directory, would be perfect.
