Daphile is very good. I ran it for a few years on an old HP micro server. However the release version gives you no ssh access and I started to have problems that I think might be hardware related and could not diagnose them. So I'm back on Ubuntu desktop, because I can. So in summary, Daphile is excellent but install the beta which has ssh enabled.
