I think that some LMS logs might help to at least see what is trying to be played.
Take a look at the LMS logs (can get to them from the info screen in LMS web UI) and if nothing interesting then increase logging level in things to do with the plugin and networking. >From LMS web interface Settings/Advanced/Logging ...
