The network.squeezenetwork logging was set to INFO, rather than ERROR. I'm not sure how that happened, but it seems to have solved the issue. That said, does mysqueezebox really have to request player info every 15 msec?
I'm sorry, forgot to respond here: no, those requests aren't expected. There must be a bug in LMS which can lead to this situation. Unfortunately I still haven't found what is triggering it. When this happens it would be good to shut down LMS for about 15 minutes. As long as it's hammering mysb.com, it'll be banned from the server. Which means you won't be able to use services through mysb.com etc.
