It's the search box with the ID #headerSearchInput and it's also
happening using Squeezer on Android.

I'm also using the full text search plugin. I really don't want to
disable it and use LMS multiple weeks without it unless I absolutely
have to :(

Would what you type make a difference? Eg. certain search terms would reproducibly cause the issue, while others don't? With 188k tracks there can be "hot" keywords which are used in many tracks (in particular with full text search enabled). They would cause huge result sets to be processed. I tried to mitigate this problem in the plugin, but there can certainly still be problems. Enabling logging for the FTS plugin might give you more information.
