It looks as if it has something to do with the MAI Plugin. I didn't disable the plugin, but if I uncheck "Download and pre-cache artist pictures from online sources" in the plugin configuration, scanning runs fine up to the end.
Ok, that's a good starting point. What MAI version is this? Are you using any streaming service?
