And all of a sudden, all is well. The one additional thing I did was update my test platform LMS to the newest version: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1578996832 @ Tue Jan 14 12:09:46 WEST 2020 Hostname: JEG-2018pc Server IP Address: 192.168.1.108 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows 10 - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 8664 Perl Version: 5.14.1 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.024 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Total Players Recognized: 0 Now one might think that this made the difference, and maybe it did, _but_ I first discovered the problem on my primary system, which already had the newest version of LMS. Having spent far too much time on this, I am going to categorize it as "one of those things" and move ahead. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ john greenwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41039 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111670
