Hello and thanks to Michael and everyone for keeping things alive here. I just made a leap from LMS 7.7.5 to 7.9.2.
I assume you installed 7.9.2 on top of 7.7.5? I think you should give 7.9.3 another try. There's been an issue specificall with Windows which I only fixed post 7.9.2 release:

- The following "new" plugins were installed: CD Player: DSD Player; Group Players; Music and Artist Information; Music Information Screen; Radio Paradise.
