I use SSOTS, which has served me faithfully for many years. Yesterday I
installed my first build of 8.0 after uninstalling 7.9.2. It went fine
(except for one issue with plugindownload which I was able to fix).
And that first upgrade to LMS8 did succeed?
Today I upgraded 8.0 with the last build.
And that failed?
Because the message you posted did complain about some module being
incompatible. Unless you've been running a very, very early 7.9.2 I
don't think there's been any change to those modules. Certainly not from
latest 7.9.2 to 8.0.
