Tidal HiFi Michael. Manually selecting mp3 makes no difference.
if you brought up the menu on the current title, what would its URL look like? With and without the above setting?
Could you please enable logging for player.source=info & plugin.tidal, reproduce your issue, then send me your server.log.zip?
