All modules use it when scanning the headers of an audio stream or file. Some use it implicitly (I.e called as part of LMS Scan remote header of a HTTP radio stream) or like PlayHLS with own scanner as audio stream may have tags etc. It is not just Scan.pm it is also Scan.so. With LMS for Windows they are built in and can't be changed - they'll work or not. IIRC Michael had a big discussion recently (?) where someone had multiple copies of Scan.pm on the Perl paths and seemed to cause similar errors.
