Hi Michael, Sorry for confusing you! Sorry for the delay, I did not get any notification, and today I got time to remember to look here! My motivation: I just discovered the advantages of the logitech squeezebox for me, when I wanted to get rid of it. During testing it connects automatically to my raspberry pi 4b. Rescan was successful, and spotty was installed quickly in the dietpi-config), so I decided to realize my old idea of overall radio in my flat. I bought some Squeezeboxes on ebay (classic one), and it worked all pretty well after resetting to standard and factory settings. One squeezebox needs an capacitor update, but the other 3 went pretty well, even the syncronizing went well after I changed to another channel of my wifi and after the factory resets...But if I am working in my office via VPN to my company, I wanted to use softsqueezebox. And it turns out, that it works with spotty as with the internal stored mp3 well. What did not work, was local radio stations, they gave me that http 503 : Service unavailable. This astonishes me a bit, cause I can ping and connect via ssh to my raspberry pi squeezeboxserver and to any other device in my local intranet, and it works besides local DNS via the fritzbox. So if everything is tunneled now via SSH to the raspberry pi's squeezeboxserver, I can't imagine, why local radio is blocked?? so the setup is this: - Raspberry Pi 4b with dietpi and SqueezeBoxServer running default on it (v7.9) - 3 Logitech Squeezebox classic in my bathroom, kitchen and living room, all working well - One Laptop with Ubuntu 16.04 and running SoftSqueezeBox on it perfectly from local intranet - Office Laptop connecting via local network to VPN of my company. Here I got the issus with Windows 10/SoftSqueezeBox running on Java 1.8.202. Tunneled via SSH, but changing to normal connection won't change behaviour, so I don't know if ssh is really connected, did not check the logs (and by now, don't know for which I have to look there and which log on Windows). The logs of the Softsqueezbox I guess I checked as they were all empty as I wrote ( or was it on the raspberry??). Anyway no hint regarding connecting problems. So my problem is very different from the one above. Questions: 1. Did I connect SoftSqueezebox via SSH successfully ? 2. Why works everything well, besides the radio station, which were presumably received by the squeezeboxserver! Or they aren't? Then this could explain the behaviour totally. Because our VPN is very restirctive in some way (But has open gates, if you look for them) 3. Do you know the way of the digital signal of my radio to my laptop as an example? Thanks in advance!
