I am using LMS 7.9.2 - 1567938514 on a Windows PC. When a Touch is the current player and using a browser, both Artists and Years are available selections in the left-hand column under My Music. When the current player is a Boom or an SB3, those choices aren't visible.
Go to Settings/Player where you can configure not only what additional browse modes you want to use, but also what menu items you want to see. This is only available for the old players.
