It's been a while. As you probably read, the user running LMS was
disabled on my NAS (but not disabled enough to not run stuff, I guess).
Because the user was disabled, it was not part of the group "everyone".
You might want to check that.
I don't know enough about Linux, permissions, and LMS to give a solid
answer here, I'm just guessing. But it seems as if
- LMS is able to read the music files
- LMS is able to write the playlist
- LMS is able to read the playlist file
- LMS is *NOT* able to find the files when reading that same playlist
Again, just guessing: Maybe for some reason whatever process is used to
read the files from that playlist has fewer permissions? Maybe it uses a
different user? Check the permissions for each part of the path to your
music and your playlist folders ("everyone" and "squeezeboxuser" (or
whatever user you use) need access to the share and each step of the
path).
