As of now, you can replace genre tags of songs, albums or artists in the
Online Music Library Integration, but what if you have multiple songs
with the same title?
It would be nice if a playlist (Spotify or LMS) could be bulk-tagged
during rescan?
So you'd like to set the genre for track A to some value if it was part
of playlist X? Sounds like a reasonable idea. Though I'm not sure I'd
want to mirror all my tracks in some playlist. Would considerably slow
down the import process.
I was trying to come up with a generic solution. But Genres seem to be
something relatively personal... what some consider Rock, others call
Pop. Therefore I'm reluctant to use some online database or the like.
But I do feel, too, that the current solution is a bit too basic.
