Sorry, but I now see that the letters changed when saved in the original
post - I'm trying a different PC this time. Æ Ø Å is the 3 last letters
in the Danish alphabet - so more or less after Z. It's also used within

So this would be a correct sort order in Danish?

9 A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P R S T U V W X Y Z Æ Ö Ø Å 回

That's what I'm getting after favoriting some of your artists in an online service.

names ie Cæcile Norby. If you're on a keyboard without Danish
characthers you would write Æ=AE, Ø=OE and Å=AA. I'm always having an
'issue' with Aaron Jerome when using Danish settings as LMS would put
him at the end of the list as Å. But that makes sense of course.

Ah! And that was the missing piece! Aaron is breaking stuff, not the nordic characters! I added him to the library, and gone was the index bar. So the problem is that the database considers AA the same as Å (never mind if that's broken here again - might be my using mail instead of the web forum...).

Tried a few new languages. Swedish is OK, and presents an index bar and
also presents the Ø at the end of the list. German is also OK, presents
index bar and puts Ø in the O section correctly. It seems to be an issue
with Danish only :(

I bet there are more issues, as localization is complicated.
