I don't think so.
If I put 10 seconds of silence into the beginning of a track then you
would have thought it would work to defeat crossfade for that track but
that's actually too much silence.
What I have discovered is that any track seems to need a minimum
duration of >10 seconds when played through an instance of squeezelite
otherwise the short track gets repeated due to some quirk of the
crossfade mechanism.
I'm not yet sure if this applies to hardware players.
