It does and I did a single file tets.

You'r mixing up file extensions (aka suffix) with LMS audio types.  
ogf is an audio type not a file extension.  
ogg is a audio type not a file extension.

ogf is an audio type associated with MIME "audio/ogg;codecs=flac".  In
types.conf there is no suffix to indicate a ogg/flac file. 
If LMS discover a file with ".ogg" extension (i.e. initially processed
with OGG as audio type "ogg" ) with a FLAC content it will re-assign
audio type "ogf" to the ".ogg" file.  If the content is Vorbis it will
get an "ogg" audio type
