If you open the Settings page in LMS default web interface, then select
the Player tab, you can then select the player you want from the left
dropdown menu, and select Audio from the right dropdown. About halfway
down the page, there is a Volume Control setting. If you select "Output
level is fixed at 100%," the LMS volume control for that player will be
disabled.

Sorry, but I don't understand. Are you saying that tracks you play
disappear from the current playlist as soon as they are done? This must
be a setting I don't know about. I hope someone else can help. There is
a Playlog plugin that you can install, which should keep a log of all
tracks that are played.

wireless players connected via Airplay Bridge; 1 SqueezeAmp player
no high-end or esoteric audio gear
1 Squeezebox Radio (upgraded UE Smart Radio) now mostly retired
