Sometimes it happens that LMS shows the generic album cover (=missing/no artwork) for -some- albums that do actually have album artwork embedded. There's no discernible pattern to it. Just random, the more time since the last wipe&rescan has passed, the more likely it is to happen. Then I do a wipe and rescan and the problem is usually gone. But I was wondering: is there some kind of *artwork fallback mechanism* in place? Like: if none of the entries in the database for artwork works/finds a cover let's look for cover.jpg or folder.jpg in the same folder. I'm *not* talking about the *scanning* process! I mean *after* -the scan- when you start using your library, browsing, playback... That would make a possible corruption of the artwork database or other things that prevent existing artwork from being displayed a lot less annoying and a wipe&rescan could wait.
