Well they maintain that it offers a better connection. I know that all the commercial X-ray equipment that I used to work with used locking dins, so does a lot of electrical stuff that requires a robust connection. I used to love my Armstrong receiver, it was my first proper hi-fi (after the Dansette) and a pair of Kef Concerto. :) I asked the salesman for a plug for the Armstrong, he made me pay; "yer've 'add yer discount, sonny!" It was a simple life!!:p ronnie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113307 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
