OK, well then here goes as to the scanning log - server log upload fails
repeatedly.

This log file is from 8.0, not 7.9.3 as you mentioned in your first posting. It shows an issue I've fixed in 8.0.1: that's only an online music scan, not a full scan. You likely have the Deezer plugin installed, but don't use Deezer. Make sure you disable the Online Music Library Import if you're not using it.

And as bpa said there's something wrong with your logging. There's a file called log.conf in your prefs folder (see Settings/Information). Delete it before restarting LMS.

Then do a full rescan, and post the resulting scanner.log.zip from that regular scan.
