Q. Is there a way to exclude files or folders from a library scan?
I use Goodsync to one-way synchronize my music library on my computer (donor) to the file server used by LMS (recipient). Goodsync places "_gssync_" on the recipient file server. This (GSSYNC) contains deleted or moved files that get scanned into LMS. The result is duplicates of some to the music in LMS. There is a 14 year old thread on this topic and it is not resolved. Is there a way to exclude items from the scan? I can think of some tricks with directory structure to achieve this. However, this is definitely a work-around.
