That log doesn't have the error message is it, where do you see the error? But 29G partition should be plenty large enough. Ram should not be an issue either.
The only general scanning issue I know of, is a bug in 8.0 that would cause rescans if you have unconfigured plugins installed. If you do not uses internet streaming services like Qobuz, Tidal....etc, Make sure to uninstall the plugins. Some may have been installed by default.
