Well maybe I should prepare for this RPI route too. But I don't have very high expectations about how the RPi can handle a database of 100K tracks...
Ping forum member pommes (I believe) who's running a 200k tracks collection on a Pi. He was facing some issues with a 3B (1GB RAM) and the maximum memory option in LMS. The scanner kept crashing, most likely as it run out of memory. He's now using a Pi4 with 8GB, if I'm not mistaken :-).
