You can stick....oops...extract the perl modules tar file in CPAN/arch/5.28 off the toplevel of where lms is installed. Mine is in /opt/logitechmediaserver so the full path is /opt/logitechmediaserver/CPAN/arch/5.28 I'm not sure where the release packages install lms, I only run lms from git. If SSLeay.so fails to load then you'll need to extract the openssl-perl tar file in /usr/local/lib using sudo tar -xf openssl-perl-5.28.tar.gz but try starting lms without extract it first.
