Why would you add a media folder you don't want to scan?I was wondering if anyone was going to ask that. 😉
You could uncheck the "Music" box for this particular path, then "Browse Filesystem" to play content from that folder (you might need to enable this browse mode in the Advanced Browsemodes plugin).
