Spotify is not a good test stream as it is made up of separate tracks and additional LMS processing . A good test stream would be live broadcast MP3 radio (e.g. Soma, BBC, Radio France ) will play direct with absolutely no LMS interference - only player can be source of issues. The codec in squeezelite is a standard 3rd part decoder used in many many systems. MP3 is delivered in frame to operating for a long time vs a short time should not affect what is being decoded as effectively a "reset" occurs quite frequently. ALSA settings have been known to cause strange effect . What are the full command line of the squeezelite commands ? - i.e. detail all options and device specifications. The audio quality problem has not been characterised - can you describe in more detail (e.g. xms echo, gaps but no loss of audio, gaps with loss of audio, reverb, occasional loss of stereo, etc) - the type of "quality" problem can help distinguish between a buffering, ALSA or decoder based issue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113843 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
