I have a similar issue: After a reboot of the Mac I cannot play any file from my Music Library. With a rescan of my library the Scanner recognize no files. When I restart the server and I do a rescan all files are available. So after a reboot of MacOS I restart manually the server an then all files are ready to play. Maybe it exist a better solution like my manually way...
