Only a few miles from here! 
LMS is better served by iOS than Android - unusual but true. 
The de facto iOS app is iPeng with player enabled. This coupled with
camera converter kit and a decent USB DAC will play 24bit content. You
can either control it with iPeng itself or use Material.
On Android SB Player won’t go beyond 16/48. I’m not sure what
SqueezePlayer will do but I don’t think it supports 24bit.
Why do you want to use upnp anyway? Native LMS is vastly superior. LMS
is 99Ron Unleaded compared to upnp’s bike.
