Fair enough about legacy folders. Increase to 20Gbytes was sudden so I couldn't monitor it over time. Also didn't really have the opportunity to look closely at log files unfortunately - Windows 10 became extremely sluggish so I was on the verge of carrying out a fresh Windows install. Luckily I checked for large files first and decided to take remedial action by deleting cache.db. As soon as cache.db was deleted and rebuilt Windows performance was back to normal.
