I encounter the exact issue on a raspberry pi zero with picoreplayer and
an external dac.
On a pi 4 it is not a problem.
But on a pi zero the usb dac "output setting" options in picoreplayer
dissapear and do not reappear after dis- and reconnecting the external
DAC.
With the DAC detected my "output setting" options look like this

Does anybody have another tip or hint to try?
