But AC-3 is not standardised for 2.0 in a file format with metadata so magic can't happen. it possibly could be transcoded (with 5.1 to 2.0 mapping) with addition for custom types and custom conversion rules but no support in scanner as no standard - so in the end not worthwhile trying.
