I've talked to Resonance FM about the problem and they are looking in to the issue. In the meantime they've provided two alternative HTTP URLs to try: http://stream.resonance.fm/resonance & http://stream.resonance.fm/resonance-extra. Both of which work just fine for me.
FYI, I copied the HTTPS 8000 URL from the -Live Streamed- link on the Resonance FM 'website' (https://www.resonancefm.com/about).
