One other way to achieve this is to devine the folder, but disable the "Music" checkbox next to it. You'd then still be able to access that folder from "Browse Music Folders", but files in there would not be added to the database. As long as this folder isn't really part of your main music folder, of course.
folder contains skip.txt and a scan ignores it. I can still browse to this folder under Music Folder but I was hoping that the files wouldn't be added to the main library after being played.
Yeah, this sounds like a bug. Not high priority, tbh. But you might still want to submit an issue on https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/issues
