I am not at all technologically savvy, so please excuse my ignorance, but I do love my LMS.
Over the past week due to all the wonderful threads on this forum, I have been able to install LMS through Docker. But the only way I can get it to map my music folder, is by granting "Read Only" permission to "Everyone". I am the only person on my home network using my NAS, but I don't really understand how dangerous this is from a security perspective. Is it 'OK' to grant 'Everyone' this read-only privilege for a music folder? (I confess I can't fully understand who "everyone" is, despite my reading.) I know I can ssh into my NAS somehow, and figure out GUID/PUID, but despite reading about that I still don't know what I'm doing. Thank you very much.
