I have a similar issue, I've just updated from LMS 7.9 to 8.2 due to a hard drive failure on my QNAP (I'm using QLogitechMediaServer). Before this my albums were fine and presented as a single album, since the upgrade they are now split out as multiple albums of the same name. I have tripled checked my Group Album Server Setting and it's correct. This is only affecting albums separated into multiple underlying folders (disc1 / disc2, etc). When I move the files into the same single folder, the scanner then presents a single album and when clicked in shows the track listing correctly even showing it is multiple discs.
