I set up a new LMS server on a new Mac Mini running OS X 11.4. LMS version 8.1.2 - 1624550702. Media is on a USB drive; actually I have 3 identical copies, some formatted as APFS, some HFS+. Permissions are set to rwxr_xr_x. LMS will not scan the media folder; finishes the scan in a second or two without seeing any albums. Evidently, it is unable to see subfolders and files. On another Mac with same OS and same version of LMS, the very same external USB drive can be scanned by LMS. Is there some setting in LMS or in the OS which gives LMS permission to see the drives (I mean apart from the file permissions on the USB drive)?
