It was not clear whether "working" means through the Announce plugin or
played as LMS file.
To confirm whether Announce is part of the problem, any playing tests
should be done avoiding Announce - this means the WAV files should be
played as a normal track.
The capabilities of the ALSA device "monofrontl" need to be shown. On
some system there is a tool called alsacap provided with squeezelite
> How do I request these? Didn't find a parameter for this.
Add the option "*-d slimproto=info*"
This will generate a log entry like
Code:
--------------------
[12:54:55.034507] sendHELO:150 cap:
CanHTTPS=1,Model=squeezelite,AccuratePlayPoints=1,HasDigitalOut=1,HasPolarityInversion=1,Balance=1,Firmware=v1.9.9-1386,ModelName=SqueezeLite,MaxSampleRate=384000,dsf,dff,alc,aac,ogg,ops,ogf,flc,aif,pcm,mp3,loc
--------------------
This is the report back to LMS on capabilties. It may show a list of
support bit rates. Post what you see on your system. Also run alsacap
on monofrontl if you have it.
