No solution found. Still the same.

If I restart LMS, I can browse Discs & Folders and play a track, artist,
whatever. Within a fairly short time, usually under 1 hour, if I browse
Discs & Folders again they show as being empty,
_*even_though_I_am_playing_music_files_stored_on_that_drive!*_

When this happens browsing Discs & Folders results in
Slim::Utils::Misc::findAndScanDirectoryTree (1046) Error: Couldn't find
a topLevelObj!

Restarting LMS *always* cures the problem until the next time.
