Agree. I also can't see the point in moving the time slider to within a few seconds of the end of a track, why not just skip to the next track? Anyone with a Squeezebox with a VDF display can set up the screen to show a variety of different elements, one of which shows buffer fullness. Video below shows the buffer fullness falling as it reaches the end of a track (top line extreme left). At 10 seconds from the end of a track the buffer is empty and starts to fill for the next track.
