FWIW, I installed Debian Bullseye (version 11) the other day, with arch
i686, and am hitting this same issue.
I specifically installed Debian (have been running Ubuntu everywhere
'til now) because after Ubuntu 20 32-bit support will go away, and I'd
rather not replace my home automation / music server hardware if I don't
need to. (But of course I will if I have to.)
Are there any plans for LMS to directly support perl 5.32 on i686 bit
systems? I looked at buildme.sh, and it only seems to have been updated
to 5.26.
