Maybe one for Tim on Moode board, then ? The whole reason for wanting mpd on LMS was that I had heard the sound quality was better than Squeezelite. Having compared the 2 , I marginally prefer mpd in my system (tube-based) - more detail. Squeezelite slightly warmer, better suited to solid-state systems and ergonomically better. Both are excellent - far better than a friends £2000+ Innuos streamer
