I installed LMS on a new server and there are still some things that
don't work, but that was to be expected. For example, I just learned
that playlists cannot be saved due to some permission issue.
The problem is that there was no mentioning of any error in the default
Web UI. Trying to save the playlist again under the same name even
prompted that "Confirm Overwrite" dialogue, despite the fact that the
file wasn't created the first time (but there are entries in the
server.log.) Material did prompt a message that the playlist could not
be saved.
Erm, to the permission thing, I mounted the share like this:

sudo mount -t cifs //server/Multimedia /mnt/ -o rw,user=squeezeboxuser

But I also have to write something in FSTAB, right?
