I'm running 7.9xx on Odroid hardware but I'm having to reboot it much too often so I'm overdue for an upgrade I imagine. The issue is my Radio loses Wi-Fi signal but a Putty reboot sorts it out straight away. I don't have performance issues so would prefer to keep the Odroid rather than upgrade to Pi if at all possible. I have a couple of Pis running PiCorePlayer, 1 x Radio, 2 x Classic & 1 x Boom. I use Spotty, BBC & Podcast plugins.
I'm no longer in touch with the technical expert who set the system up for me so I'd really appreciate some help. I've found a thread that guides me through upgrading from 7.9xx to 8.2xx, but I don't know which version of 8.2xx to download. Here's my setup as it is now: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1543258616 @ Mon Nov 26 20:27:06 CET 2018 Hostname: squeezeplug Server IP Address: 192.168.1.71 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv7l-linux Perl Version: 5.14.2 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 1.76 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 5 I'm not at all techy but can work my way around USB Image & Putty if I'm advised what needs doing. Many thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ muggo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11514 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115511 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
