I recently acquired a Synology NAS to replace my aging Drobo DAS. I moved my music over to the NAS, have it mounted from my Mac just fine, but when I attempted to scan the contents, the scanner wasn't able to find any files, putting an 'Operation not permitted' error into the scanner log.
Giving full disk access to bash, sh, and perl has seemingly fixed the issue.
